When he’s not perfecting images in the edit suite, you’ll find him paddling a kayak or hunting down his next favorite hot sauce—bring him a bottle, and you’ve made a friend for life.

Manager of Operations

Sheila Lynch, Manager of Operations, is a founding member and the heart of HCK. With over 25 years of experience managing top post-production facilities in New York City, Sheila has overseen operations at three leading studios before bringing her expertise to HCK. Affectionately known as “The Irish,” she’s renowned for her unwavering dedication, treating her colleagues and clients with the same warmth, care, and attention to detail as she does her own family.

Senior Colorist and Online Editor

With a career spanning over four decades, Jon has brought his colorist expertise to projects across San Francisco, Los Angeles, Paris, and New York. His diverse portfolio includes award-winning films, commercials, news broadcasts, orchestral concerts for the Pope, children’s programming, and major sporting events. Beyond the studio, Jon’s adventurous spirit has led him to raft whitewater rapids, take the stage as an actor, and even cook in a French restaurant kitchen.

Colorist

With over 20 years in post-production, Ian Heifetz joined HCK in 2019, bringing a decade of experience as a Video Engineer, Editor, and coding specialist. His deep knowledge of emerging and future technologies adds valuable insight to the team. When he’s not at the console color grading, Ian enjoys sipping coffee and developing apps, blending creativity with tech innovation.

Senior Conform Editor

With over 17 years of experience, Bahron Thomas has mastered the art of conform editing, meticulously configuring systems to ensure every project meets the highest standards of quality and precision. His technical expertise and problem-solving acumen make him an indispensable part of the HCK team. Outside the edit suite, Bahron is a passionate writer, a deeply spiritual soul, a devoted Star Wars aficionado, and a Comic Con regular who never misses a chance to celebrate his fandom.

Director of Audio Services

In January 2019, Bob Barzyk spearheaded the launch of HCK’s Audio Post Production division. With over 25 years of industry experience as a VP of Post Production, Lead Editor, and Sound Mixer at top post facilities across the U.S., Bob has led teams for some of the world’s biggest productions. His portfolio includes major sporting events like the Olympics, as well as full-service post-production for reality shows, game shows, variety programs, and more. A seasoned leader and mentor, Bob continues to guide HCK’s audio team with his signature precision and passion.

Senior Re-recording Mixer

With 27 years of experience in audio post-production and music, Paul is a true veteran of the craft. His extensive credits span hundreds of television shows, from light-hearted cartoons to hard-hitting documentaries, from restoring legendary music performances to crafting the audio magic behind award-winning children’s programming. Paul has spent years perfecting live concert and comedy specials, culinary shows, and avant-garde animation projects. A passionate music enthusiast, Paul also enjoys immersing himself in the world of online gaming.

Senior Re-Recording Engineer

With 15 years of experience, Andrey has mixed an impressive array of projects spanning documentaries, unscripted television, narrative films, live-action comedies, animation, stand-up specials, and podcasts. His work earned him a 2017 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Sound Mixing, and his mixes have been delivered to top networks and streaming platforms. When he’s not in the mix bay, you’ll find Andrey skiing, fine-tuning his modular synth rig, or on a quest to discover his next favorite ice cream flavor.

Senior Assistant Editor

For the past 13 years, Javier Chorrillos has been an integral part of MPE, seamlessly bringing his expertise to the HCK team as Senior Assistant Editor. Under the mentorship of Senior Conform Editor Bahron Thomas, Javier has expanded his technical skills by leaps and bounds. Known for his calm, steady presence in high-pressure environments, Javier is a trusted go-to in the edit suite. Outside of work, he enjoys quality time with his family, diving into video games, and exploring his love of music.

Sound Mixer

A dedicated music producer and film student, Brian discovered his perfect niche in the world of post-production audio. Under the mentorship of industry veterans Bob Barzyk and Paul Furedi at HCK, his passion for sound was honed and affirmed, setting him on a clear career path. Brian’s enthusiasm for all things audio is infectious, and he’s especially looking forward to celebrating his next birthday in the best place imaginable — the Dolby Atmos studio.

Post Production Coordinator

A firm believer in the motto “Teamwork makes the dream work,” Karla Rodriguez brings her collaborative spirit to HCK as Post Production Coordinator. Her experience spans independent features and acclaimed production companies like Firelight Films and Fork Films. Karla found her passion in post-production, where stories are crafted with care and the voices of real people are amplified. As the youngest of five siblings, she learned early how to make her presence known — and she hasn’t stopped leaving her mark since.
